King’s Clan

The Kings of Punjab are the true masters of IPL 2018. Finolex Cables is the official sponsor of Team Kings XI Punjab. So, let’s take a look at who are in the Kings’ Clan who are roaring on the field and ruling the game with their strength, confidence and hard work.

The King of Kings is Ravichandran Ashwin, the Captain of Kings XI Punjab. The 31-year-old is a bowling wonder and often brings down the batting order by his right-arm off break. India’s King of Hearts, Yuvraj Singh, is making hearts beat faster with his terrific performance on the field. Overseas player, Chris Gayle, is a pleasure to watch but a terror for the batsmen. This right-arm off break bowler can bring down the batting order like a pack of cards.

Mayank Agarwal is a great right-hand batsman and a go-getter for runs. Akshdeep Nath is a middle-order batsman, and a terrific right-arm fast-medium bowler. Mayank Dagar is an orthodox slow left-arm bowler. Overseas player, Ben Dwarshuis, is a left-arm fast-medium bowler who keeps the runs at bay. Aaron Finch is also dependable, a top-order batsman who can bring big runs on the scoreboard. Manzoor Dar and David Miller are the middle-order saviours who hold up the scoreboard and keep it ticking for the Kings. The youngest lad in the Kings’ Clan is Mujeeb Ur Rahman. The 16-year-old is a right-hand warrior with a good arm for bowling.

Lokesh Rahul is the Kings’ opener and he shoulders the responsibility to open the scoreboard as well for the team. Karun Nair, a top-order batsman keeps the scoreboard ticking and Axar Patel makes bowling and taking wickets look like a cakewalk. Ankit Rajpoot and Mohit Sharma share similar talents in bowling and both are valuable in the Kings’ Clan. Manoj Tiwari’s googly can startle even the best batsman at the crease and overseas player Marcus Stoinis is a middle-order batsman who keeps the runs coming. Overseas player Andrew Tye and local boy Barinder Sran also work hard on the field to reach the finals.
